You don’t need any singing skills. You don’t even have to sing at all if that’s not your thing, you’re welcome to just come, listen and receive.

This is a small group in-person programme with limited places.
We’ll meet in person at the Hive on the Tuesday closest to the new moon from 6.30pm to 8pm.
You’re invited to join for all nine sessions in person.
Over nine moon cycles, we’ll explore nine powerful themes and learn nine beautiful Shining Songs together, inspired by the individual ocean qualities of the Sea Soul Journey Oracle Cards.
Journeying together over nine months offers time and space to awaken your heart, intuitive knowing and voice. To sink deeper into the practice of receiving and singing these healing songs, and working with these themes. With regular support to build your own regular Shining Song practice over time.
What will we do in a Shining Song Penzance session?
The format of each session will be guided by the Shining Songs, but will usually include these core elements:
REST & RECEIVE
I’ll introduce a new theme for that moon cycle at each session. We’ll begin with time to pause and go within at our Ocean Altar.
You’ll lie down, and get comfortable – focusing on listening and receiving the card reading for this moon cycle, and a gentle guided meditation to connect to the waters and your inner knowing. We’ll call on the sea to support you to release what is ready to go, and make space for the new.
In this more relaxed state, I’ll sing you this month’s Shining Song as a meditative practice. As you rest and listen, receiving the song’s healing in every cell. You’ll then have time to journal on your experience.
CONNECT & SING
We’ll then reconnect to the whole – learning and singing this month’s Shining Song together (and maybe one or two others…).
This Shining Song practice is about singing from the heart, not getting it ‘right’ or sounding ‘good’. As you sing, you’ll receive the medicine of your own voice, and the collective vibration. You’ll be free to make the song your own, trusting your intuition to guide you. Or if you don’t want to sing, there’s no pressure – you can continue to listen to the group singing if you prefer.
EXPLORE OUR THEME
You’ll have an opportunity (always optional) to define a simple action with which to invite our theme into your life over the next month.
Each session, you’ll leave with:
- A new Shining Song to guide you through the moon cycle ahead; bringing healing when you need it.
- Inspiration to build a regular song practice to connect with your voice, and with Mother Earth
- A simple grounding theme as focus for that month
- Both ocean oracle and your own intuitive guidance to explore what this particular theme means for you right now
- Practical steps and ideas of ways to embody this theme and move it into action in your life
- A community of support, accountability and song
Inspirational themes from the Sea Soul Journeys Oracle Cards
Our in person sessions will be themed around the ocean wisdom captured in the Sea Soul Journeys Oracle Cards.
The choice of each theme here was inspired by the gift of a song that kept returning to me, like springs bubbling up through dry ground. Each of these new songs directed me to a particular ocean quality that is also represented by the oracle cards.
The themes we will touch on together in Shining Song Penzance are:
- HELD – on holding and being held by ourselves, each other, and by nature
- BELONGING – on what it means to belong to ourselves, and create spaces of belonging
- FORGIVENESS – on forgiveness, of oneself and others, as a healing practice
- COURAGE – on being brave enough, moment by moment, to face grief and transformation
- DEPTH – on looking beyond effect, to seek and remedy the cause
- PERSISTENCE – on building resilience and community through challenging times
- LOVE – on becoming a vessel for love, for ourselves, each other and the planet
- BEAUTY – on living, seeking and creating beauty within and around us
- GRATITUDE – on embodying thankfulness as sustenance, guidance and healing

The cost to participate in all 9 sessions is £150 if paid in advance (£16.66 per session). Alternatively, you can make 9 payments by monthly subscription at £18 per session.
NOTE: The first of the instalment payments will be taken on the date that you sign up, and then every month subsequently for 9 months (so if you sign up in August, your final payment will be taken in April).
Are bursary places available for Shining Song Penzance?
For those who would otherwise be unable to participate, some bursary places for Shining Song Penzance are also available at £100 for all 9 sessions (£11.11 per session); or as 9 payments by monthly subscription at £12 per session.
Can I combine Shining Song Penzance and Shining Song (online programme)?
If you’d like to deepen the impact of these Shining Song practices, I recommend combining our in-person Penzance sessions with my new online offering (Shining Song – find out all about that here). The in-depth online nine month Shining Song programme will run in parallel with Shining Song Penzance, starting on 10 September, just after our first in-person session.
In the online Shining Song programme, you’ll receive weekly support, tools and inspiration to connect with these ocean themes and Shining Songs. Support includes weekly love letters, audio recordings of these Shining Songs and others, ocean meditations, and journal prompts.
In the online programme, you’ll also be part of a shining international collective that will support each other to take action for change – via community zoom calls. Each month, we’ll share three gentle invitations into action – that ripple these powerful themes out into your life, your community and the wider world.I would LOVE to share this online experience with my home community, so if you would like to join both Shining Song programmes, I’m offering a special Penzance discount of £75. Why do we need Shining Song now?
The gift of song is deeply healing and empowering. Singing is an ancient practice from when we knew how to be in relationship with the land, ourselves and each other.
These times we are living through are calling us to change. To find our place in the collective song of life. A song that honours all beings, and the very essence of who you are. Both as an individual soul, and as part of the collective.
As we reclaim our song, and find our voice, we contribute to a wider energetic shift. We recognise that each one of us is a vital voice in a communal choir. And together, our ripples can become waves that reshape the world. In the collective song of life:

~ We tend to our hearts as part of the whole, with compassion
~ We witness and bring healing where there is suffering
